Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Billy Mitchell Elementary, home of the Aviators! Our school is a vibrant and inclusive community dedicated to providing an exceptional educational experience for all TK–5th grade students in our general education, dual immersion, and Pathways programs. Here, students are encouraged to dream big, explore the world around them, and live out our SOAR values: staying safe, showing an outstanding attitude, being respectful and responsible, and always ready to learn.

This year will be filled with opportunities for growth, curiosity, and connection. Our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to create learning environments that challenge and inspire, blending rigorous academics with support for students’ social and emotional well-being. Every lesson is designed to spark curiosity, build critical thinking skills, and nurture each child’s unique strengths.

We believe that education thrives when the entire community works together. Families are essential partners, and we invite you to join us by participating in the PTA, attending parent workshops, and coming together for our Family Night events. Stay connected through our weekly newsletter, follow us on Instagram, and join our updates on ParentSquare to celebrate the wonderful moments happening at our school.

Together, we will make this school year one of positivity, inclusivity, and achievement for every student. Thank you for your trust, partnership, and commitment to our school community.

In partnership,

Dalia Coronel, Ed.D.
